Làng Mơ Nú (xã Ia Kênh, TP.Pleiku, Gia Lai) những ngày cận Tết rực rỡ sắc vàng của mai rừng.hoa mai vàng Dù không phải là nghề chính, nhưng trồng mai đã trở thành nguồn thu nhập ổn định cho nhiều hộ dân Jrai nơi đây, giúp họ có thêm điều kiện sắm sửa mỗi độ xuân về.

Khởi đầu từ việc mang mai rừng về bán dịp Tết, người dân Mơ Nú dần chuyển sang trồng mai trong vườn, trên rẫy khi nguồn mai tự nhiên ngày càng khan hiếm. Sau hơn chục năm, nghề trồng mai rừng phát triển, lan rộng khắp các làng đồng bào trong xã Ia Kênh.

Hiện nay, hầu hết gia đình ở đây đều có vài gốc mai rừng, hộ nhiều lên tới cả trăm cây. Nhờ tích lũy kinh nghiệm, người dân biết cách…
